Cheated on? Lied to? Or simply disappointed by someone? A colleague, close friend, partner, spouse, or child? I don’t assume you would be interested in reading further if I threw in a stranger. But when it is a person close enough to grab a share of our hearts, we feel the pain. No one who never gets close to you will be able to create that emotional hurt. Only people you let in can also hurt inside. Strangers are externals if we exclude the prayers we pray for them and pour our hearts out to God for them. Still, cheating, lying, being played, etc. feels bad because we had built trust with the people we are now hurt by. (more…)

A couple of months ago, I read the book “The Power of a Praying Woman”. Her words and a couple of inspirations form His word inspired me to write this wake-up letter of instruction for a day God wants you to have. A day without depression, fear, anger, or selfish thoughts.
To the guys reading this: Just replace the title geared towards us girls with something that makes you feel motivated and called to listen.
