In a post from 2010, I suggested to thank God for the things you have, instead of constantly asking for the things you don’t have. That changes your perspective quickly, but there are more things God revealed to me that help in a transformation.

Fixing A Heart-Attack With Band-Aids
Posted: May 6, 2011 by Corinna in UncategorizedTags: growth, healing, help
Laughter isn’t always a sign of someone’s happiness. We can laugh when we are distracted from a situation we’re facing. We can find distraction in work, being with friends, entertainment, etc. Distraction cannot deal with the roots of our unhappiness. When those moments are gone, situations or emotions will resurface.
Distractions are band-aids. We cannot rely on them to heal deep wounds or to fill a void, it is just not strong enough for the task. For example, if your heart needs surgery, a band-aid won’t do the job. And it isn’t a quick-fix either.
Are you ready to let God diagnose, expose, advise, prescribe, remove, heal, recover and restore you?
