I have read a book by Stormie Ormatian “The Power of a Praying Wife”, a powerful book and a blessing. She wrote about how relieved she felt once she knew she “didn’t have to entertain every thought”. Brilliant! I always felt bothered by thoughts that were SO NOT ME, thoughts that dragged me down or made me feel ashamed or disgusted.
With the knowledge that I don’t have to entertain every thought, I felt that I gained a tool to fight the enemy. I don’t have to entertain the lies thrown at me. I think God has as much fun as I do whenever I choose to kick out the uninvited guest.
Thank you, Miss Stormie.
